MK Dons have made highly-rated striker Izale McLeod available for transfer.
The former Derby County forward has rejected the offer of a new, extended contract and looks certain to be playing his football elsewhere next term.
Dons chairman Pete Winkelman told the club's official website: "Izale believes that playing in League Two is having a detrimental effect on his chances of continuing his England career and, as everyone knows, it's the club's policy not to hinder any player's opportunity to progress.
"This thereby ensures that we maintain a squad that is 100 per cent committed to our bright future.
"We've decided to take this course of action now so that the new manager can be clear what playing resources will be available to him from the current squad so that he may plan accordingly.
"It's no secret how highly we value Izale, but we're now prepared to listen to serious offers."
The 22-year-old has scored 60 goals in 135 appearances for the club.
