Milton Keynes Dons boss Paul Ince has been named the League Two manager of the month for the second time this season.
Ince guided the Dons to five wins and one draw from their six fixtures during December and the run enabled his in-form side to stretch their lead at the top of the table to eight points.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill, Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy and Paul Lambert of Wycombe Wanderers were all in contention for the monthly gong.
Former Macclesfield Town boss Ince also won the accolade back in October.
"Paul Ince continues to do a fantastic job at Milton Keynes Dons and his reputation as one of the best young managers in the game is growing all the time," said chairman of the awards panel Chris Kamara.
"There was lots of speculation linking Paul with the vacant managers job at Derby a month or so ago but full credit to him for the way in which he remained focus on the job in hand.
"His side's considerable points haul in December means they remain the team to catch in League Two."
