Ince laments ref decisions
16 Nov 2009 - 16:08:55
MK Dons boss Paul Ince has blasted referee Keith Hill following their 5-1 defeat at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
Ince believes his side should have been awarded two penalties in the first half.
The incidents occurred when an Aaron Wilbraham effort appeared to be handled by Addicks defender Kelly Youga and fellow centre-back Christian Dailly escaped punishment after blatantly handling inside the area and Ince was incandescent with rage.
Speaking to the club's official website, Ince fumed: "I thought the referee was diabolical in the first half.
"We had two blatant penalties, one with Alby (Wilbraham) that was handled off the line, which is a sending-off, and another where Powelly's (Darren Powell) gone to head it, Dailly flicks it with his hand and it should be another penalty.
"The referee didn't have the bottle to make the decisions and that's disappointing because it changed the course of the game."
