Ince clinches Quashie coup

West Ham United midfielder Nigel Quashie has dropped down two divisions after agreeing to join League One side MK Dons on loan until January. The 31-year-old has been training with the rest of Paul Ince's squad for the last week and is expected to make his debut in Tuesday's game against Carlisle United. The former Scotland international, who is out of contract at Upton Park at the end of this season, has been banished to the reserves by Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola and last featured in the Premier League side's first-team squad in March 2007. Quashie has only played eight matches for West Ham following his arrival in east London from West Brom almost three years ago. The former QPR, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth and Southampton midfielder was loaned out to Wolves and Birmingham City last term.
