MK Dons boss Paul Ince has returned to former club Macclesfield Town to sign Danny Swailes.

Swailes has become Ince's tenth signing since leaving Macc for Milton Keynes during the summer after arriving at stadium:mk for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old centre-half was ineligible for Saturday's 3-3 draw between the two sides at Moss Rose due to 'administrative issues'.

The Bolton-born stopper made almost 200 appearances for Bury before moving to Macclesfield in January 2005.

He made a further 111 appearances for the Silkmen.
