Ince admits to pitch concerns

MK Dons manager Paul Ince fears that Stockport County's pitch could benefit the home side when the two teams meet at Edgeley Park on Saturday. County share their ground with Sale Sharks and the pitch has been looking decidedly threadbare in recent weeks. Ince said: "I went there a couple of weeks ago and the pitch was absolutely diabolical, which isn't going to help us as far as our normal passing goes. "There are going to be a lot of twists and turns to come this season and we've just got to concentrate, keep performing the way that we have been, and continue to show the same spirit and desire that we've shown throughout the whole season to date. "They've got to come out and get the three points, which should help us. They're looking for third spot and automatic promotion and they'll feel they have a good chance of beating us. "It won't be easy for us. Jim Gannon's got a very good team, and a young side with lots of energy."
