Gorman: Draw was right result
MK Dons assistant boss John Gorman was pleased with his players` efforts during the 2-2 draw at Leyton Orient, but insisted a draw was a fair result.Stephen Gleeson put the Dons in front with a fine drive from 30 yards before goals from Scott McGleish and Terrell Forbes put Orient in front. Sean O'Hanlon earned the Dons a point with a fine header 11 minutes into the second half.Gorman said: "We played good football throughout, got off to a good start and scored a great goal, but then they came storming back and it was end-to-end stuff."We nearly equalised on half-time but got back on level terms soon into the second half but overall, I thought it was a great effort from both teams who went in search of a winner and it could have gone either way."I think a draw was a fair result and it was a good game for this level. I don't think the fans could have anything to complain about after that 90 minutes to be honest."We had a couple of opportunities to get the winner but it was a satisfactory result to come here and take a point after Orient beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 on Saturday. So it was pleasing for us and, as I say, a fair result on the night in what was an excellent effort from both teams."
