Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Gareth Edds earned special praise for his performance in the 3-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.
The 25-year-old Aussie filled in at right-back against the Chairboys and gave an excellent all-round display.
Boss Martin Allen told the club's official website: "Gareth was terrific playing at right-back, playing out of position, his one on one defending was fantastic.
"I don't normally single people out, but when someone puts in a performance like that, they show the strength of mind needed to be able to cope.
"He was asked to play in a different position and not only did he play in it, he played very well."
