MK Dons have landed Reading youngster Jonathan Hayes on loan until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland youth international midfielder has been named on the substitute's bench twice this season, but has yet to make his debut for the Premiership side.

Hayes, 19, was loaned out to Conference side Forest Green Rovers during the second half of last season.

Meanwhile, the Dons have also completed the signing of Jude Stirling from Peterborough United for a nominal fee.

The 24-year-old defender arrived at the club on an initial emergency loan deal at the beginning of the week, but has now completed a permanent transfer.
