Dons wait on Wilbraham

MK Dons boss Martin Allen is sweating on an injury suffered by Aaron Wilbraham which threatens to leave the striker requiring surgery.

Wilbraham missed last weekend's 2-0 victory at Bury following a recurrence of an ankle injury he suffered earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Lee Harper has sustained a back injury and is rated as doubtful for Saturday's visit of Macclesfield.

"Lee Harper has a back strain and Aaron Wilbraham had an ankle problem a couple of months ago that has flared up again," Allen told the club's official website.

"I'm not sure how long Lee is going to be, Alby (Wilbraham) has had an injection and we'll see how that settles down.

"Hopefully it will settle down otherwise he will need an operation."
