MK Dons have rejected a £1miilion bid from Peterborough United for highly-rated striker Izale McLeod.
The 21-year-old former Derby trainee is regarded as one of the most lethal marksmen in League Two and has already struck seven times this campaign.
But MK Dons, currently fifth in the League Two table, have decided against cashing in on their prize asset.
"The club made an offer of £1million for McLeod, but Milton Keynes chairman Pete Winkleman turned it down," Posh director of football Barry Fry told the club's official website.
"The money would have been spread over three years."
