Dons launch Andrews appeal

Milton Keynes Dons have lodged an appeal against Keith Andrews' red card in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Wycombe.

The 27-year-old was dismissed in the 56th minute at Adams Park for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

In an incident-packed game, Paul Ince's side finished the match with nine men following Lloyd Dyer's dismissal, while the Chairboys also missed a penalty when Willy Gueret saved John Sutton's spot-kick.

Former Hull City midfielder Andrews will be suspended for one game if the dismissal is upheld by the Football Association.
