Dons close on new boss

MK Dons chairman Peter Winkelman expects to be in a position to unveil a new manager 'by the early part of next week'.
The Dons have been on the lookout for a new manager after former boss Martin Allen was allowed to leave to take the reins at Championship club Leicester City last month.
"Things have been going as we expected them to," claimed Winkelman.
"People have been away on holiday, then I was at the chairmen conference last week, but things are now moving into gear.
"The club is now a very attractive proposition for any would-be manager and the calibre of interest we've had reflects that.
"At this stage there are still some options to consider. Hopefully by the early part of next week we'll have a very good idea of where we stand."
