MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo has announced himself content with his side's start to life in League One, but still wants to strengthen his squad in the near future.
The Dons currently lie in sixth place in the table, having taken 18 points from their first ten games, with Di Matteo making a fine start to his managerial career.
He told the Milton Keynes Citizen: "I'm hoping Santa Claus will bring me some nice gifts for Christmas because we're still very thin in numbers.
"We have to be very happy with our start, because it's been very challenging with the problems we've had.
"What I knew before coming here was that to succeed as a manager you need good players.
"It's very enjoyable when you win, but when you don't you feel very lonely. You don't want any friends around when you lose."
