Boss pleads for patience
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has called for patience as he sets about taking the club to promotion to the Championship. The Dons have managed just a solitary away win all season but head to Tranmere this weekend in seventh, handily placed for a promotion push.Robinson said: "People will judge me on the first three months of the season. But they don't see behind the scenes. I know where we lack and where I want to strengthen, but it takes time and it takes patience."We know where we want to get to. My focus has never changed and will never change. I focus on the small things that come up, but I have an overall goal."Everything at this club is right. This is the most qualified staff outside of the Premier League. We have more degrees and more qualifications than ever before - whether it be medical staff, analysts, coaches or the manager - they all have the elite badges in their field."Everything is prepared in the right way. The one thing I cannot prepare for is someone losing their head in a game, or someone making a mistake. I will get it right, whether it's tomorrow, Saturday or in a year's time. I know what this club needs, the players know what I want, I know what the fans and chairman want, and I will do everything in my power to make sure we get this right."
