Milton Keynes Dons have failed in their appeal against captain Keith Andrews' red card in Saturday's incident-packed 1-1 draw at Wycombe.
The 27-year-old will be suspended for Tuesday's League Two match against Grimsby Town but will be eligible to feature in this weekend's FA Cup first round clash with Crewe Alexandra.
The former Hull City player was dismissed in the 56th minute at Adams Park for denying a goalscoring opportunity.
In an incident-packed game, Paul Ince's side finished the match with nine men following Lloyd Dyer's dismissal, while the Chairboys also missed a penalty when Willy Gueret saved John Sutton's spot-kick.
