MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman has cooled talk of rugby union side Northampton Saints making a permanent move to their stadium:mk home. The Saints have an agreement in place to play any potential quarter final of the Heineken Cup at the Dons' larger home but have threatened to leave the town if their plans to expand Franklin's Gardens are blocked by the council. But Winkelman told BBC Three Counties Radio: "We have only spoken to Saints chairman Keith Barwell about being a Heineken Cup venue. "It is very, very early days to talk about anything else. "It's very much for us about being a football stadium. "What we want to make sure is the people of Milton Keynes get a wide sporting choice from the stadium."
