We got just desserts - Robinson
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson felt his side fully deserved all three points following their 2-0 win at Brentford.
Second-half goals from Mathias Doumbe and Angelo Balanta were enough to seal a comfortable win for Robinson's side, who climbed up to seventh in the table.
Robinson said: "We've been playing well like that a lot this season, but not getting our rewards. I think Brentford will be up there challenging, so this is a great result for us.
"We missed a few opportunities in the first half and we had three one-on-ones, but at half-time I thought it wasn't going to be our day.
"But we kept plugging away and worked on maintaining a clean sheet and I thought our centre-backs were outstanding.
"They won all the second balls and played a high line and I think this win was just reward for them."
