Skipper set to return for Dons
Left-back Lewington missed last weekend's 0-0 draw with Hartlepool as well as the 4-1 Carling Cup defeat at home to Swindon in midweek through illness, but he is back in training and confident of starting at the County Ground as the Dons look for instant revenge.
Midfielder Stephen Gleeson is also back in contention after illness and could start as manager Paul Ince hopes for a much-improved display.
However, Ince is still without forwards Aaron Wilbraham (ankle) and Sam Baldock (groin) but may have Jabo Ibehre (hamstring) on the bench for the first time, while defenders Danny Swailes (Achilles) and Sean O'Hanlon (knee) are both out for the long term.
Midfielder Peter Leven is close to a return from a groin strain yet will not feature while Sol Davis is fit after twisting his ankle and Jude Stirling has a groin injury.
