Robinson to rest players ahead of play-offs
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has revealed he will rest some of his key players ahead of the npower League One play-offs.
Saturday's 2-1 win over struggling Notts County secured a two-legged play-off against either Peterborough or Huddersfield as they bid to make the play-off final at Old Trafford on May 29.
However, Robinson insists he will rest a number of first-team players for the last game of the regular season against Oldham on Saturday.
"The job is not done yet, because we still have to go to Oldham next week and be very professional and see who we have fit and who we can maybe rest," he told the Milton Keynes Citizen.
"I will definitely rest players, but with Luke Chadwick getting injured, I could only have 15 fit players, so I have to be careful of who to play on what could be a difficult pitch."
