Robinson support for Easter
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has backed under-fire striker Jermaine Easter despite his lack of goals this season.
Easter missed a penalty in the 2-0 win over Dagenham at the weekend and has failed to find the net in 11 league appearances this season but Robinson still has confidence in his frontman.
"Jermaine is a top, top professional and I'm going to stick with him. We're lucky to have him because he's a Championship forward that's just going through a barren spell," he told the club's official website.
"I didn't even mention the penalty at half-time, but I thought in the second half he was excellent. Jermaine will score very shortly and then go on a run of games where he becomes formidable again.
"I'm backing him right to the end and he knows that."
