Robinson: More to come from Dons

23 August 2009 15:49
Jermaine Easter's first-half penalty and Mark Carrington's ice-cool 55th-minute clincher knocked the managerless Us off top spot, before Scott Vernon pulled a goal back late on. And Robinson feels the combination of class and grit shown by the Dons is a sign of things to come as they bagged their second successive win. He said: "Colchester came here full of confidence but we felt we should have been 4-0 up at half-time, which shows the quality we have got. "We're beginning to look more like a Paul Ince team now - we played some great football going forward and put our bodies on the line in the last 15 minutes. The way the boys played for him was tremendous and he is going to have some tough decisions to make when we get all our injured players back. "It's always pleasing when you have an unbeaten start to the season but we don't want people getting carried away. It's important we look at the things we're not happy with for the next game because there is lots more to come from this team."
