Robinson holds hands up

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson admitted his side's automatic promotion hopes were over after the 3-1 defeat by Huddersfield. Goals from Scott Arfield, Lee Peltier and substitute Danny Cadamarteri sealed a seventh win in nine games for the in-form Terriers, while Mathias Doumbe netted a late consolation goal for the Dons. Both sides also missed a penalty with Ian Bennett saving from Peter Leven and Dons keeper David Martin denying Scott Arfield. Robinson was still happy with his team`s performance, if not the result. He said: "I'm really pleased with the players. I'm disappointed with the result, it hurts me when people pay to come into the stadium and we don't give them the result they were looking for. "You've got to hold your hands up and say that probably ends our automatic promotion hopes. But of the teams that are in there, we've shown that we can compete with them and create more chances than them."
