Robinson admitted it was not one of Easter's most effective all-round performances, but added: "He was still a threat in the first half and is a top player at this level.
"Getting the three points was the most important thing. It's a strange place to play and the wind was swirling at times, but we got the job done.
"We switched off a couple of times and our keeper, Willy Gueret, made two important early saves.
"The referee made his decision with the sending off and we heard a bit of a crack. Richie (Partridge) got a swollen knee and had to come off in the second half."
