MK Dons boss Karl Robinson was delighted after his managerial career get off to a flier as goals from Sam Baldock and Danny Woodards secured a 2-1 win at Walsall. Robinson, the Football League's youngest-ever boss, saw his men dominate from the outset as they saw off a poor Saddlers outfit. The 29-year-old boss said: "I'm just glad to get off the mark and hopefully this `youngest manager' thing will slowly go and disappear. "People wait for that first result and it's happened now. But it's not a Karl Robinson result, it's a Milton Keynes Dons result. "I'm sure people will always have the knives out for me sooner than for anybody else because it's always something they can pick up on but I've got to be big enough to accept that and keep smiling through it all. "We're not getting carried away just yet, it's still really early on and an awful lot of things can go up and down but we'll stick together as a team and as a football club."
