Robinson apologises following Dons defeat

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson revealed he had apologised to the club's visiting support following their 4-1 defeat at Carlisle. Francois Zoko and James Berrett netted first-half goals for the Cumbrians with Gary Madine and Tom Taiwo scoring in the second period before Peter Leven's consolation strike for the Dons. "We've had a good chat in the dressing room," said Robinson. "We have no divine right to win things. "We lost our shape and I apologised to the fans who came up here and spent their money." Robinson was sent to the stands after Carlisle took the lead, but insisted his dismissal was not related to an off-the-ball clash between Ian Harte and Jermaine Easter, which left the Dons striker clutching his face. Referring to the incident, Robinson responded: "Clash, what clash? I got sent off for kicking a water bottle."
