Robbo salutes 'outstanding' Doumbe

The 29-year-old kept highly-rated Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson at bay as second-half strikes from Jermaine Easter and Aaron Wilbraham fired the in-form Dons to their fourth straight win. And Robinson - who barked orders from the technical area while boss Paul Ince served the first match of his two-game touchline ban - heaped praise on Doumbe after the Dons climbed to third in the table. He said: "Mathias Doumbe was absolutely outstanding, that's why he got man of the match. For me Simeon Jackson is the best striker in this league so to keep him quiet for 90 minutes is no mean feat. "People forget Mathias has played in the Scottish Premier League for long periods and he's also played in the Championship for the last three or four years. He showed his quality and experience against a top centre-forward." He added: "I did look up at one time and I think the gaffer was actually hanging over the directors' box trying to get down. It was tough for him in the second half but we kept the back door closed and we showed once again we have an abundance of quality to win games."
