Gary MacKenzie returns to the MK Dons defence for the trip to face Hartlepool.
The centre-half has missed the last two games through suspension but will come back into the starting XI in place of youngster Tom Flanagan.
Manager Karl Robinson, though, will make a late decision on the health of Danny Woodards and Jabo Ibehre.
Right-back Woodards missed the home defeat to Leyton Orient in midweek through illness, while striker Ibehre had to come off at half-time after scoring due to the same ailment.
The latter is hopeful of keeping his place but Robinson will monitor the pair before kick-off.
Fellow striker Sam Baldock is about 10 days away from a return following his latest hamstring injury and on-loan QPR frontman Angelo Balanta remains sidelined with his ankle problem.
