Quashie future in West Ham's hands

The West Ham battler joined the League One outfit in November to improve his match fitness, but having impressed recently it is uncertain whether the Hammers would prefer to recall him to the first team once he returns in January.[LNB]The former Scotland international told skysports: "I'm looking to get fit first and enjoy my football because I found it very strange sitting at home whilst the other boys were on the pitch every weekend.[LNB]"At the end of the day I am employed by West Ham and whatever they decide is what will happen, but I jumped at the chance to come down here and if it means playing regular football then I'm happy to stay longer.[LNB]"It is a great football club and the stadium is fantastic, so I can't wait to be fully fit and show the fans what I can do."[LNB][LNB]
