N'Guessan on Wednesday's radar
The striker has been the subject of much transfer speculation and Imps boss Peter Jackson has already turned down two bids from MK Dons.
Laws has had N'Guessan, whose contract expires in the summer, watched and hinted he may pursue his interest in the 21-year-old forward.
Laws told Skysports.com: "We have had a look at the lad but we have taken a look at a lot of players so he is just part of the portfolio of players that we have monitored.
"He was recommended to us so we had a look at him and we will assess the situation regarding him and other potential targets at a later date."
