Mixed feeling for boss Di Matteo
The Dons dropped just three points during the month but still missed out on automatic promotion to leave Di Matteo deflated.
He told Sky Sports News: "At the start of the season we would be pleased to get into the play-offs but now I have mixed feelings about it.
"It's 46 games and we just needed one more win to go up but now we have three more games to get promotion.
"The players gave everything and they were committed but it wasn't to be.
"But we have a good chance now and let's see what happens."
