MK Dons will check on Dele Alli and Lee Hodson ahead of their FA Cup third-round replay at home to Wigan.

Teenage winger Alli is nursing a knock sustained against Shrewsbury on Saturday while Hodson missed the league win over the Shrews with an injury sustained during the initial 3-3 draw with the Latics at the DW Stadium nine days ago. Luke Chadwick would probably replace Alli while George Baldock filled in for Hodson at right-back at the weekend.

Recent loan signing Chris Long is ineligible as he was not registered with the Dons for the initial tie, so Daniel Powell is expected to replace the Everton youngster up front.

If the Dons overcome Wigan they will host Barclays Premier League club Crystal Palace in round four.

Wigan manager Uwe Rosler has revealed he will shuffle his pack.

Rob Kiernan and Tyias Browning are both cup-tied and will definitely miss out, along with long-term injury absentees Shaun Maloney (shoulder) and Gary Caldwell (hip).

Rosler said there "may be some surprises" in his team selection, which gives hope to fringe players such as Danny Redmond.

One player who will feature for the holders is Ben Watson, who impressed on his comeback from injury in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.
