Joe Walsh out for MK Dons

MK Dons are without Joe Walsh as their search for a first home League One win continues against Walsall.

Walsh is away on international duty with the Wales squad so caretaker boss Richie Barker has a gap to fill in central defence. Among his options are captain Dean Lewington, Jack Hendry and former Saddler Paul Downing.

David Martin is expected to resume in goal after Lee Nicholls played in cup matches against Spennymoor and Norwich, while the likes of Nicky Maynard, Kieran Agard, Ryan Colclough, Ben Reeves and Dean Bowditch should also return to the squad.

Samir Carruthers has missed the last two games through injury and it remains to be seen if the midfielder is fit enough to come back into contention.

Andreas Makris and Liam Kinsella are on international duty and miss out for Walsall.

Record signing Makris has linked up with Cyprus while Kinsella is with the Republic of Ireland's Under-21 side for friendlies in Spain against the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Kieran Morris is a doubt with an ankle injury but the club will give him every chance to recover and James O'Connor (groin) is struggling.

Maz Kouhyar is out with a knee injury having undergone surgery last month.
