Fresh injury blow for MK Dons as Ben Reeves is ruled out

MK Dons have suffered another injury blow ahead of the visit of in-form Hull.

Ben Reeves sustained a calf injury during the defeat to QPR last weekend and he is set for a spell on the sidelines.

However, fellow midfielder Darren Potter, named on the bench at Loftus Road, could return to action for the first time since the end of August after recovering from his long-standing knee problem.

Dean Bowditch (ankle), Mark Randall (knee), Matt Upson (calf), Dale Jennings (knee) and Joe Walsh (knee) all remain unavailable to Dons boss Karl Robinson.

Hull boss Steve Bruce has some difficult selection decisions to make after a much-changed side knocked Leicester out of the Capital One Cup.

The likes of Eldin Jakupovic, Tom Huddlestone, Ryan Taylor, Mo Diame and Shaun Maloney all played their part in defeating the Foxes but could be nudged aside as Bruce continues to manage a strong squad.

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor and top-scorer Abel Hernandez can expect to return at opposite ends of the pitch, with Jake Livermore, Sam Clucas, David Meyler and Ahmed Elmohamady contesting the midfield slots.

With Curtis Davies (calf) out, Harry Maguire could continue at centre-half should Alex Bruce (groin) not be risked.
