MK Dons without suspended duo for Rovers clash

MK Dons will be without the suspended Joe Walsh and Darren Potter against Bristol Rovers.

Defender Walsh and midfielder Potter both received their fifth yellow cards of the season during the defeat at Scunthorpe on Saturday and must now serve one-match bans.

With Scott Wootton (knee) out injured, Jack Hendry, on loan from Wigan, is set to come into the team to cover for Walsh.

Ed Upson returns to the reckoning after completing his suspension as Dons boss Karl Robinson, who has no new injury problems, looks for a first win of the season at stadium:mk.

Rovers boss Darrell Clarke has virtually a full-strength squad to choose from for the trip.

Former Dons striker Jermaine Easter misses out as he completes a three-match ban while Liam Lawrence, who has featured just once this season, is again missing, but otherwise Clarke has everyone fit and available.

The Rovers boss must therefore decide whether to stick with the side that finished Saturday's late comeback victory over Gillingham, which would mean match-winner Ellis Harrison plus widemen Cristian Montano and Billy Bodin being handed starts.

Otherwise, the likes of Ollie Clarke and loan trio Hiram Boateng, Jake Clarke-Salter and Connor Roberts could come into contention if manager Clarke opts to shuffle his pack once again.
