MK Dons set to name same squad for Bristol City game

MK Dons will have an unchanged squad but boss Karl Robinson will rotate his attacking players for the visit of relegation rivals Bristol City.

Former Robins duo Nicky Maynard and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas could lead the line for the Milton Keynes club against their old team and that would mean a recall for Emmanuel-Thomas.

However, Dean Bowditch, Alex Revell and Daniel Powell will also come into the thinking of Robinson, who for the past couple of seasons has regularly made changes in the midfield and striking positions.

Midfielder Carl Baker (ankle) is still out but he could be back at the start of March while defender Matthew Upson's Dons career continues to be blighted by a series of injuries.

New Bristol City boss Lee Johnson is set to name an unchanged side after his first game in charge produced a 2-1 home victory over Ipswich.

But on-loan midfielder Ben Gladwin could come into the matchday squad after returning to Ashton Gate this week.

Gladwin has played only once for City with a knee problem limiting his availability since he agreed a 93-day loan deal last month, but parent club QPR have assessed the injury and are happy for the 23-year-old to return to their Sky Bet Championship rivals.

Defender Luke Ayling remains a few weeks away from first-team action after undergoing a knee cartilage operation.
