Milton Keynes Dons 2-3 Leyton Orient: Match Report

Tehoue keeps Orient on the up Substitute Jonathan Tehoue scored a late winner as in-form Leyton Orient twice came from behind to defeat MK Dons 3-2. Jimmy Smith's first-half double cancelled out goals from Dean Lewington and Jabo Ibehre, before Tehoe raced clear to seal Orient's third straight win and move them to within three points of the play-off places. Lewington handed the Dons a dream start when he crashed a 25-yard half-volley into the top corner after Dean Cox could only half-clear Peter Leven's corner. Smith equalised for Orient after 17 minutes, sweeping Charlie Daniels' low cut-back past David Martin from 12 yards. Ibehre restored the Dons' lead six minutes later when he toe-poked Rowan Vine's low cross against the underside of the crossbar and the ball rebounded into the net off goalkeeper Jones. Ibehre and Keanu Marsh-Brown both missed good chances to extend the Dons' lead and Smith made them pay six minutes before the break, stealing in unmarked to head home another Daniels cross. The Dons dominated the second half, but Tehoue won it for Orient in the 74th minute when he latched on to Paul-Jose M'Poku's pass and coolly slotted past Martin.
