Last-gasp McLeod rescues Dons

Izale McLeod rescued a point in stoppage time for MK Dons as they scored twice in the last 10 minutes to secure a 2-2 draw against already-promoted Brentford.

The home fans were not the only ones left celebrating as the result sealed the Sky Bet League one title for Wolves while it also ended a run of five straight home defeats for the Dons

Brentford were gifted the lead right on half-time when Dons goalkeeper David Martin dropped Alan Judge's corner at the feet of James Tarkowski, who gratefully slammed the ball into the net.

The Bees doubled their advantage just before the hour-mark when Adam Forshaw's clever through ball put in Clayton Donaldson, who slid his shot into the far corner.

Dons were back in business when Stephen Gleeson scored their first home goal in over 10 hours from the penalty spot after Brentford goalkeeper David Button had brought down McLeod.

And the hosts snatched a point in the third minute of added time when McLeod rose to plant a terrific header from Ryan Hall's cross into the top corner.
