Lewington in line to face Grecians

28 August 2009 16:20
Lewington has been sidelined since sustaining a head injury in a challenge with team-mate Mat Doumbe a fortnight ago but may return in a Petr Cech-style headguard. A late decision will be taken on Lewington's availability but Doumbe is fit to start after coming on as a substitute against Colchester last weekend. Striker Sam Baldock returned last week after a groin problem and will be in contention while midfielder Peter Leven and defender Danny Swailes are closing in on a return. Both are yet to feature this season but Leven (groin) and Swailes (Achilles) played in a reserve-team fixture in midweek. They are not expected to play at St James' Park but could be back next week. Ince is still without Aaron Wilbraham (ankle), Jude Stirling (groin), Sean O'Hanlon (knee) and Darren Powell (hamstring).
