The 25-year-old has thrown his support behind the British Armed Forces and hopes to raise funds for them through the Football League's Official Charity Partner for the 2009/10 season. "I've pledged to donate five pounds every time the boys score a goal this season so hopefully we'll all have our shooting boots on and can raise a decent amount of cash," he told the club's official website. "As a British citizen I've got unbelievable admiration for all the men and women in our Armed Forces, who put their lives at stake all over the world for the good of our country." He added: "I'd urge anyone who is proud of the work of our Armed Forces, whether they support MK Dons or not, to pledge whatever they can and we'll try to do our bit on the pitch."
