Leven aims to get back in the goals

MK Dons midfielder Peter Leven has pledged to get back on the scoresheet to help his side end their barren run. The Dons are now seven games without a win, but are still just two points from the play-off positions, and unbeaten at home in the league ahead of the visit of Dagenham on Saturday. Leven said: "I don't think we are far away from where we want to be. The little things are going against us but we are still trying to pass the ball about. "The boys are still upbeat, so we are not far from turning the corner. We played Dagenham in the cup and they are a tough team, but every team are in this division at the moment. But on our day, we can beat anyone and hopefully that will be true on Saturday. "Not one team have really opened us up, but it has just been little mistakes like not clearing the lines, and not concentrating when we should have, but we are not far away. "On our day, we play good football, but we are not taking our chances and with the possession we have, we need to turn it into goals. I am trying to chip in with a few more goals this season."
