Just perfect - Robbo

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson described his side's first-half display as "perfection" after Sam Baldock returned from injury to set up a 2-0 home win over Dagenham & Redbridge. Baldock, returning from an ankle injury, broke the deadlock with a clinical 55th-minute finish before Mathias Doumbe added a second to end the Daggers' four-match unbeaten run. Dons striker Jermaine Easter had earlier fired a penalty against the outside of a post after Lewis Guy had been tripped in the box. Robinson, who believes Baldock's finishing compares to the best strikers in the world, said: "The first-half performance, other than the lack of a goal, is what we class as perfection within the industry. "We conceded no chances and we looked comfortable and moved the ball really quickly. When you are searching and you do need a goal I don't think there's many better in the league than Sam Baldock. "The boy came on and scored another great goal, he will cost millions in the future. I've worked with some of the best strikers in the world like Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Roque Santa Cruz and Benny McCarthy - he's up there with them with his finishing."
