Ince still dreaming of Wembley

Paul Ince praised the efforts of his makeshift side and targeted a return to Wembley via the play-offs in May after their Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Southampton. Rickie Lambert's strike and an own goal from Dons defender Danny Woodards put the Saints in control in the Southern Area final before Mark Randall pulled a goal back for the visitors. But a late strike from Adam Lallana gave the Saints a resounding 3-1 win in front of a capacity St Mary's crowd. Ince said: "It's gutting to go out of a competition at any time, but to be dumped out so close to Wembley obviously makes it harder. "But I can't fault the players. We were missing some big players and the lads who were out there did fantastically. "We still have a lot of games to play this season and we still have the chance to get to Wembley, that has to be our main aim from now on."
