Ince pleased with Dons attitude

Dons captain Dean Lewington was stretchered from the field just before half-time with his neck in a brace after clashing with centre-back Mathias Doumbe who also required hospital treatment for a head wound. The incident delayed the game for over 10 minutes and Ince, in the early days of his second spell at the Dons, praised the way his side stuck to their task after the delay. Ince said: "I thought we were the better side and the lads responded brilliantly to the injuries. "Obviously when the lads got back in the dressing room they were all asking about Mathias and Lewie (Lewington) but while they were out on the pitch they kept their concentration. "I thought we did enough to win the game but it wasn't to be. I thought we should have had a penalty for the foul on Jermaine Easter in the first half but it just wasn't going to happen for us."
