Ince happy with opening-day point

Pools have been a soft touch on the road in recent seasons but they put in a resilient display to ensure Ince's second spell as Dons' boss got off to a frustrating start. Ince said: "I'm very happy with the result when you look at the last week or so. We had Dean Lewington and Stephen Gleeson going down ill, Sol Davis turned his ankle in training and Jason Puncheon had a baby this morning so he only arrived an hour before the game. "It was a bit like Carry On Milton Keynes at the training ground, with everyone running around. "It's been hard to prepare because we've been all over the place. We were down to the bare bones with two kids on the bench. "But like darts, a lot of big names go out in the opening round. It was just about getting something on the board, and we did that."
