Ince backs Howell to be a success
The 22-year-old was one of Ince's first signings for the Dons back in 2007 and despite struggling to become a regular, the former Gillingham man impressed during the 1-0 win over Wolves on Tuesday.
Ince said: "Luke Howell was absolutely unbelievable on Tuesday night, it was an incredible performance from him.
"He knows with the likes of Mark Carrington and Stephen Gleeson coming in that competition for places is going to be huge and he is going to have to fight for a place.
"People told me last season that he had improved but on Tuesday night he showed me how much."
