FA Cup second round draw: AFC Wimbledon could meet MK Dons

A potential meeting between AFC Wimbledon and the MK Dons was the highlight of the draw for the second round of the FA Cup.

Both sides must navigate their way through first-round replays first, but any clash between the two would provide a major talking point.

AFC Wimbledon set themselves up in 2002 in response to Wimbledon's move to Milton Keynes and if they can overcome Ebbsfleet and MK get the better of Stevenage, they will have the home meeting they crave.

Another club created due to fan disenchantment, FC United of Manchester, will travel to Brighton or Woking after their dramatic win over Rochdale on Friday, while Dover, who knocked out Gillingham on Saturday, will host either Brentford or Aldershot.

Darlington's reward for knocking out Bristol Rovers is a home meeting with either Rotherham or York, while fellow giantkillers Tamworth will travel to Carlisle.

Other notable ties include non-league side Swindon Supermarine making the trip to League One side Colchester, while Vauxhall Motors will be at home to Yeovil if they can get the better of Hartlepool in a replay.

Sheffield Wednesday, 5-2 winners at Southport on Sunday, will host Northampton, the winners of Cambridge and Huddersfield will face Macclesfield or Southend, Bury will take on Stockport or Peterborough and an all-League One clash pits Notts County against Bournemouth.

Non-league Droylsden will face Dagenham or Leyton Orient, Crawley welcome Swindon. Southampton meet Cheltenham, Torquay will come up against Fleetwood or Walsall and the winner of an all-London replay between Barnet and Charlton will play Corby or Luton.
