Peter Leven's last-gasp penalty handed MK Dons a 3-2 victory over Yeovil in a pulsating clash at stadium:mk. Goals from Dean Lewington and Jemal Johnson had put the Dons 2-1 up after Dean Bowditch's early opener for the Glovers. But after Adam Virgo had equalised, Leven stroked in a cool 87th-minute spot-kick to earn the Dons, who were hit by a sickness bug this week, their third straight home win. Bowditch put Yeovil ahead after 19 minutes when he pounced on Sean O'Hanlon's mistake to coolly lift the ball over keeper Stuart Searle, but Lewington headed in Leven's corner to equalise in the 36th minute. The Dons seized control after the break and Johnson fired Sam Baldock's cut-back high into the net only for Virgo to equalise fin the 75th minute, swivelling to hook in a loose ball via the inside of the post. But Leven won it for the Dons three minutes from the end, sending John Sullivan the wrong way from the spot after Luke Chadwick had been tripped in the box by Shaun MacDonald.
