Dons to check on Doumbe

MK Dons defender Mat Doumbe will require a late fitness test before the trip to face Dagenham. Centre-back Doumbe required 10 stitches in a nasty-looking head injury sustained against Tranmere last weekend but played in the 3-1 defeat to Plymouth in midweek. However, the wound was opened up twice before Doumbe was forced off in the 78th minute and he will be thoroughly checked before being given the go-ahead to play again. Fellow centre-back Gary MacKenzie is also doubtful after a clash of heads against the Pilgrims but Sean O'Hanlon returned from an ankle injury as a late substitute and is available. Striker Sam Baldock has missed the last two games with a hamstring pull but is back in training and is hopeful of a place on the bench, while midfielder Mark Carrington is fit after a back injury. On-loan QPR striker Angelo Balanta will be out of action until March with an ankle problem while fellow Rangers forward Rowan Vine will again be on the bench after joining the club last week.
