England's World Cup bid leaders will begin inspection visits next week to those cities hoping to be part of the campaign for the 2018 or 2022 tournament. Some 15 cities, containing up to 22 stadia, have registered their interest ahead of Wednesday's deadline saying they want to be part of the bid. Winkelman said: "I don't think we are outsiders. That's not to say that we haven't got to do a huge amount of work to achieve it but we are hugely serious about it. "If you think about 2018 Milton Keynes by that time will probably be one of the top 12 cities in the country in terms of population and economic clout. We have a brilliant track record for delivery, including stadium:mk which is one of the best stadiums in the country. "What the FA will understand is that we will be able to make it real. That is a very important part of any bid."
